The Queensland state government is throwing solar producers under the bus. Just before Christmas, the government released its response to the Queensland Productivity Commission's (QPC) report into solar feed-in pricing, accepting the QPC's recommendations not to raise or regulate feed-in tariffs. Currently, Queensland solar owners are not receiving a fair price for their solar. With this response, the government is entrenching the power of big energy companies and putting the boot into consumers. It's not good enough. Can you email Energy Minister Mark Bailey and tell him Queensland needs a fair price for solar?
